Join us for an immersive day of snowboarding at Mont Farlagne on Saturday, February 24 for the Maritime Jibbers Progression Camp and Rail Jam!

What is the Progression Camp?

The progression camp includes two components: the Shred Skills Snapshot and the Shred Advancement Workshop. Durning the snapshot, you will learn valuable insights and recommendations for skill improvement. Canada Snowboard certified coaches will collect data for a comprehensive evaluation, including notes and video analysis. In the Shred Advancement Workshop, riders are grouped by age and skill level for efficient feedback implementation. There is a focus on general riding improvements and introduction to the competitive realms of snowboarding.

What is the Rail Jam?

A rail jam in snowboarding is a freestyle event where riders perform tricks on rails, boxes, and other features. Riders are judged based on their style, creativity, and technical skill in executing tricks on these features. The Canadian Tire Fun Park at Mont Farlagne is being designed specifically for progression. There will be features to challenge every skill level from the aspiring park rider to the seasoned pro. Showcase YOUR skills, sesh park features, play a game of S.N.O.W., and have the chance to win over $1,000 in prizes. Music, BBQ, and good vibes all afternoon long.

Main lodge by cafeteria for camp, Canadian Tire Fun Park for the jam. Look for Maritime Jibbers signage.

Lift Tickets and Accomodations:

Lift tickets are not included with registration fees.

Host Venue and City: Mont Farlagne and Edmundston, New Brunswick:

Mont Farlagne stands proudly as the highest Ski & Snowboard Resort in New Brunswick, boasting a vertical drop of 1400 feet. Situated on the outskirts of Edmundston, this family-friendly destination offers an array of activities beyond skiing and snowboarding. From tubing thrills to serene snowshoeing and exciting fat biking trails, Mont Farlagne ensures there's something for everyone to enjoy amidst the picturesque Appalachian Mountains scenery.

The Edmundston region is located in northwestern New Brunswick in Madawaska County. The Saint John River to the south is its natural border with the United States, and the Madawaska River, its natural link with Quebec. It is nestled among the Appalachian hills and crossed by the Trans-Canada Highway. Edmundston is the main gateway to the greater Maritimes region. It has nearly 17,000 inhabitants. Edmundston is also home to the Edmundston Blizzards, a MHL hockey team. They play a home game on Feb 23rd, 2024 at 7:30 PM if you're looking for something to do before hitting Mont Farlagne on the 24th.
