A Community of Passionate Snowboarders
Maritime Jibbers was founded in 2023 to fill a gap in snowboard programming in Atlantic Canada. What started as a small group of riders has grown into a vibrant community of athletes, parents, and coaches who support each other on and off the hill.
At Maritime Jibbers, every rider finds a place to belong. With certified, hands-on coaches and a team environment that celebrates both fun and progress, we create space for riders to push themselves, make friends, and fall in love with snowboarding.

SNOWBOARD PROGRAMS
At Maritime Jibbers, our programs are built on three things parents told us matter most: progression, fun, and community.
We make the most of Ski Wentworth’s world-class terrain — from quad lifts and terrain parks to an SBX course and airbag — to give riders plenty of runs and plenty of variety. What truly sets Jibbers apart is the environment: supportive coaches, small groups, and a team vibe that keeps kids motivated, learning, and smiling.
Every program is designed with the rider’s long-term development in mind — whether they’re just starting the sport, looking to explore the whole mountain, or chasing competition goals.

TrAINING CAMPS & Events
From our home at Ski Wentworth, to partner resorts in NS, NB & PEI, Maritime Jibbers delivers impactful progression camps & events for every type of rider. Additionally, we offer pre-season preparation, airbag training, and trampoline training.
Outside our signature camps & events, competitive riders with Maritime Jibbers can benefit from event-day coaching at NS Snowboard, Canada Snowboard, USASA, and industry training camps & competitions.

Maritime Jibbers camps, off-snow programs and events are all about fun, progression, and community.

Seasonal Camps
From Holiday Camps to Family Weekend and March Break Camps, these local sessions give riders more time on snow, often with special guest coaches and fun themes. They’re a great way to try Jibbers for the first time or add extra training time for riders already in our programs.

Off-Snow Programs
We offer Pre-Season Prep, Airbag, and Trampoline training to help riders build confidence and progress in a safe, supportive environment.

JibberFest
Our signature event series, JibberFest, brings together skiers, snowboarders, families and fans for a celebration of snowsports culture across the Maritimes. With events like Rail Jam, Big Air, Boarder Cross, and Banked Slalom, JibberFest is as fun to watch as it is to compete in.

Competitions
For riders chasing competitive goals, Jibbers provide lead-up & event-day coaching at NS Snowboard, Canada Snowboard, USASA and industry events. Our coaches are there to keep riders prepared, supported, and confident when it counts.

Our People
Our coaches are more than instructors — they’re mentors, role models, and teammates. With experience ranging from Nor-Am competitions to Canada Games, plus recent grads from provincial teams, our coaching team brings a blend of expertise and relatability.
Every coach is certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and Canada Snowboard. Many were once in your rider’s boots — now they’re here to give back.
